COVID Guidelines

During these times, The Shop has had to adapt in order to provide services safely. We don't want to put clients or employees at risk so we've rearranged The Shop to put more space between each chair (8 feet minimum), and we've added dividers to separate everybody a bit more. On top of the physical changes, we've enacted some procedural changes as well.

The Shop employees will be following regimented cleaning and disinfecting procedures between each client, and throughout the day. While we have always cleaned and used virucide on our tools and cutting area, we've added an extra step of disinfection using chemicals that are specifically rated to kill Coronavirus.

Additionally, we have some guidelines for our clients to follow. These are important for the safety of our employees and other clients. These guidelines are required by The Shop. Our employees do not have the ability to negotiate these procedures. These are outlined below.

GUIDELINES

  • Masks are required.
  • Hot Shaves, Beard Trims, Blowouts and Waxing will NOT be available.
  • Calling In is highly recommended. We will most likely not be able to sneak walk-ins onto our list.
  • We will use a contact-less thermometer to check for fever. We will not be able to service you if your temperature is above 100°F.
  • You will be asked to confirm that you do not have any of these symptoms.
    • Fever or chill
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last two weeks, have been exposed to another person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have any of the previous symptoms, please DO NOT attempt to come into The Shop.
  • Whenever possible, please arrive with clean hair. We will be doing as little washing as possible to eliminate as much face to face contact as possible.
  • When you arrive, we ask that you wait outside or in your car. We will call you when we're about 5 minutes out.
  • MASKS ARE REQUIRED to enter The Shop and need to stay on for the duration of the service.
  • Please respect the social distancing requirements.
  • Please do not bring anything unnecessary to your service (food, drinks, bags etc).
  • We have a temporary $4 surcharge. Part of which will go to Bonus our Front Desk people.
  • For the time being, dogs are not allowed.
